I see the light

The grass is always greener on the other side.

Finally daylight in our classroom. A few days back, a group of form 4's came into our class equided with slash hammers tore the plywood slaps on the classroom windows. The warm tropical sunlight brust through torn plywood slaps and a warm feeling came to me 'Freedom'. Well the situation reminded me of the tearing down of the Berlin wall during the cold war. When Ronald Reagen challenged Mikhail Gorbachev saying "Mikhail Gorbachev, tear down this wall." is 'literally' how we tried to allow fresh air into our hot and smelly classroom (not ending communist DUH). The plywood was our berlin wall and Puan T** was like Mikhail Gorbachev. Dramatic right?

Exam is getting closer by the seconds. Havent been studying to tell you the truth. Yawning every time i look at PA or chemistry. STPM is not for the fainted hearted...

Canon 5D mark ii

Just annouced recently at photokina. Canon has finally made a new successor of the old Canon 5D after three years. A one of a kind camera that will the blow the pants off the Nikon D700 and the Sony A900.
A new full frame 21mp cmos sensor, the new DIGIC 4 processor, Highlight tone priority, Auto lighting optimizer, High ISO noise reduction, water resistance, records 1080p video up to 12 minutes (longer and more resolution than the Nikon D90), live view, 3.9 fps and a bright 98% coverage viewfinder.
After the long reign of the great D5, no doubt that the D5 mark ii will also dominate the photography world.

What a day!!

Today i taught PMR math. Well even though there is only 5 students in my class, i almost fainted (Ken Boon i understand what you meant now). They HAVE NO GENERAL/BASIC KNOWLEDGE ON MATH!!!! They have no idea what's Pythagorean theorem. For a single question they took 20 mins to answer. i almost blow up. Also, PMR is around the corner (3 weeks to be more precise). They better start studying because if they think PMR is tough, try add maths.

New dslr from nikon that records video

Dslr turning compact!! Dslr which records video!! Well, it is true. This unusual piece of feature can be found in the new Nikon D90 which will be launching soon.
The nikon D90 can enable you to record 5 min of 720p video at a time with only manual focus. 12mp CMOS sensor, 11-AF point, 3-inch LCD screen, 4.5fps, wider ISO range, dust removal system and active D-Lighting which is an upgrade to the old Nikon D80 in every way.

It has a user-friendly system( inherite from the Nikon D60) which makes it easiler for amatuers(who is upgrading from a compact) to master the skills of photography faster. If you are looking for a dslr or upgrading from a compact, better check out the new Nikon D90 when it released. You wouldn't regart.
